Our product to control cleaning and hygiene by detecting PROTEIN residues after cleaning designed.
The high absorption sampler allows sampling from different surfaces with the same efficiency. The system is compatible with cleanliness verification of endoscopes and other reusable instruments with hard-to-reach internal channels or cannulae.
Visual reading of the colour change indicates a detectable level of protein residue. Our product is highly sensitive and can detect up to 1 μg of protein.
Instructions for Use
1. Carefully open the aluminium pouch. Remove the swab and test tube from the package.
2. Remove the swab from the package and carefully rub it on the tested surface.
3. Open the tube cap, immerse the swab in the reagent colorimetric solution and swirl for 15 seconds. IMPORTANT: Do not push the swab against the tube walls, just immerse and wait. Analysis may be affected if hydration or immersion is performed incorrectly.
4. Discard the swab and re-cap the reagent tube.
5. Visually interpret the results using the colour scale. By comparing the test result colour with the colour on the chart, an estimate of surface cleanliness can be made.
NOTE: To perform comparable tests on surfaces, you should standardise surface sampling. To do this, sample 10 cm2 from the same spot 10 times in one direction and 10 times in a direction perpendicular to the first direction.
Storage
It should be stored in dark places in the range of 2-25 ºC.
Shelf life 24 months when refrigerated and 6 months when stored at room temperature up to 25 ºC.
